WOW!!!Talk about old school.I remember as a kid growing up in Brooklyn buying packs of wacky packages at the grocery store with my friends. We use to go home and stick them on the refrigerator door. Our moms did'nt mind. as a matter of fact ,one of my friends mother never did remove any of the stickers from her frig. that was 27 years ago. It brings us fond memories when we go together to visit her and "still" see them there. Its like stepping back in time...

Wow! What great memories this brought back. Like some other folks mentioned already, I wished I had kept mine. I didn't think I was very hip while growing up in the early 1970's, but after looking back on the Wacky Packages web site I think I was pretty hip after all, and I really caught on to the subversive and sarcastic humor in those little packages. Thanks for the great memories. You made this jaded 41 year old feel much younger, great site.

It seems that every wacky website I go to talks about the age group of wacky collectors these days are 30-40. The funny thing is, I remember these cards from my childhood, sometime around the years of 1986-1989 (not sure when exactly), and I loved them! I just ordered some on Ebay. But could you help me with one thing? Which wacky series would I have seen back then? It seems all the series I come across are much older.

I love looking here at this site for info and just to see all my favorites and the ones I unfortunately missed. I am so mad at myself for not keeping all the boxes, wrappers and checklists I had when I got each new case!!! WHO KNEW?? At least I had the good sense not to peel and stick my collection. Keep up the great work here, I never get tired of looking at these, even 30 years later!!

I remember mom going to the laundrymat every Saturday, me and my brother went with her and she would stop by Haley's Junction to fillup the '74 Mustang II, and get us each a Slush Puppie, and a pack of Wacky Packages. I still have the sticker album, though we never got all the stickers.(always wound up with the same cards)

My kids (ages 5 and 7) have discovered an old box of Wacky Packages at a local comic book store. Boy, did the memories come flooding back! They love to hear about how my husband and I collected them in the 70's and are psyched that they now have their own collection. I did forget some of those violent graphics, though! I can't believe they got away with half of what they did!
